As I keep saying, it takes real, non-racist, non-Islamophobic nationalism to beat far-right identitarian fake ‘nationalism’, whereas in other regions the FN has been getting up to 40+% of the vote in the second round:

Just as the far-right is weak in Scotland because of Scottish nationalism (whose successes we have discussed at length), it is weak in Corsica because of Corsican nationalism. (The PNC is, like the SNP, a member of the EFA.) The contrived Socialist/Republican blockade against the FN worked this time (luckily!), but it cannot be expected to work forever, and certainly does not excite people’s imagination in the way that the PNC does. If the rise of the FN is to be stopped, a new paradigm must be introduced into French politics. Years ago we already pointed out what this should be:

If the Occitan nationalists can get their act together, there is no reason why they could not achieve the same success across Occitan territory as the PNC has in Corsica. If any Aryanists, anti-Zionists and other True Leftists in France want to help us get this going, please send in a contact form (we would love to hear from Aryanists in Corsica also):

Bonus Christmas song:
I spoke too soon. Sorting things out in Corsica is going to be more complicated than I thought:

“There are two types of nationalism in Corsica,” said Eugène Gherardi, a professor of Corsican culture and history at the University of Corsica Pascal Paoli in Corte, in the center of the island. Gherardi described one type of nationalism as “closed to everything, closed to all foreigners,” and another as “a nationalism of a small country that has always been dominated by others,” adding that the former was a cultural import of the National Front party.
…
several hundred of the protesters stormed a nearby prayer hall and burned copies of the Quran.
…
Nationalist politicians, led by the recently elected Simeoni — who slammed the actions of several hundred protesters — won regional elections in December.
Things would be clearer at least vocabularywise if the real nationalists (e.g. Simeoni) were willing to call out the fake ones as identitarians.
At any rate, I apologize to Scotland for over-eagerly comparing Corsica to it; clearly Scotland remains superior for now. Though Corsica could catch up overnight if it were willing to apply Ahimsa to its rioters:
“If the slightest attempt at a riot were to break out at this moment anywhere in the whole Reich, I’d take immediate measures against it. Here’s what I’d do: (a) on the same day, all the leaders of the opposition … would be arrested and executed; (b) all the occupants of the concentration camps would be shot within three days; (c) all the criminals on our lists—and it would make little difference whether they were in prison or at liberty—would be shot within the same period. The extermination of these few hundreds or thousands of men would make other measures superfluous, for the riot would be aborted for lack of ringleaders and accomplices.” – Adolf Hitler
By failing to apply Ahimsa to rioters (as the Dutch government also recently failed to apply Ahimsa to Dutch rioters in Geldermalsen), but instead attempting to talk civilly with far-right leaders, this is what happens:

How much longer will it take leftists to re-learn Ahimsa?
