There is a distinct difference between modern environmentalism and Aryan environmentalism. The difference stems from the differing attitudes between non-Aryan and Aryan in regards to problems of such magnitude. This difference is fundamentally a difference between revolt and revolution.
The modern and popular conception of environmentalism takes the form of a revolt due to the decisions made, perhaps unintentionally, during its inception as a movement. Modern environmentalism opted for a populist, rather than an elitist structure. This ensured quick success and growing sympathy and support; towards which the widespread, at least partial, understanding of environmentalism is to be credited. However, to achieve this popularity, modern environmentalism sacrificed dedication and a degree of activism (the current activists are perpetually becoming proportionately smaller relative to sympathisers) as well as its originally “Radicalist” basis. Again, I am using the definition of “Radicalism”, which is listed on the glossary page. The sacrifice of its originally Aryan aspects (create mankind anew instead of developing more efficient energy solutions which only feed the problem) for popular support has resulted in its adoption of a form of activism categorised as “revolt”.
Environmentalism which is solely materialist can only be categorised as a “revolt”, populist and ultimately non-Aryan. A fine example of this is the popular term: “sustainability”. In other words, the most efficient exploitation of natural resources; with the least consequences, for the sole purpose of satisfying man’s narcissistic pleasures. This is only a revision of the current attitude towards the environment, typified by American society. It is only a revision due to the pragmatic need to increase efficiency and not to reduce consumption; but to satisfy the compounding desires of the rapidly expanding masses. Therefore, it can be seen that; as the term revolt is defined, so is modern environmentalism, “dissatisfaction with the consequences of presently popular thought”. Ultimately, non-Aryan environmentalism only exists in order to satisfy human desires as much as possible, for the longest period of time. Side-effects of this ideology are the half-measures, such as fluorescent light-bulbs and hybrid cars which only lessen the negative impact on the environment for fear of disrupting the masses in their march to oblivion via excessive consumption.
Aryan environmentalism is a total approach to our current environmental problems. The “totality” of Aryan environmentalism must be stressed. Aryan environmentalism is one aspect of an Aryan society which relies on all the others to function in a distinctly Aryan manner. While Aryan environmentalists will continue with the current research into alternative energies and other material solutions to many of the current problems (at a faster rate), an Aryan environmental policy will be free to solve the prime cause of our current problems and prevent the same from reoccurring. Without the Demographic, scientific and foreign policies of Aryanism, the environment can never be restored to its proper functionality. For this reason, unlike modern environmentalists, we must be able to pursue our ends through the acquisition of government powers.
Key to Aryan environmentalism is solving consumption. While non-Aryan environmentalists, like their economic cousins, never seek to solve the problem of consumption and the economic problem respectively, Aryanism must solve both. Instead of quenching the appetite of both (exponential growth in consumption), an Aryanist society will restrict consumption through proper education and a cut in the supply of excessive and undesirable goods and services. Of course, population reduction will also play an important part in reducing consumption.
An Aryanist government would also have the powers and means to convince the public of its large spending on conservation, creating national reserves, habitat restoration, resettlement of human population, etc., and any discontent it may cause.
Therefore, Aryanism should actively engage in the green, environmentalist and other such movements and their discussions. The current environmentalists, those of pure heart and genuine sincerity, will be easily assimilated into our movement.
