Here is a civilian sailor with one ship doing what, in a sane world, the navies of every EU country would be doing with every spare ship they have:

http://www.dw.com/en/vogel-we-have-an-obligation-to-rescue-these-people/a-36055772

I began coordinating the first rescue missions in February, and I have to say that the thing that has most deeply affected me has been my experience with people who are in grave danger and live in mortal fear. One cannot begin to imagine what that is like. It changes a person. It is clear to me and those that I work with that we have an obligation to rescue these people and to help them as best we can.

I am in fact devastated by the direction that the discussion in Europe has taken over the last year. At the same time I realize that those who talk like that simply don’t understand the situation – and cannot imagine it. But I hope that our work will help people to better understand it. We invite those who are in doubt to simply come along with us and experience it for themselves.

They would meet people who have been living in mortal danger for months, even years, and have no other options. They are people that have experienced the unimaginable in Libya. In the end, they put all their money on one card and have taken the risk of setting out to sea in a tiny inflatable. To make matters worse, most of these men and women can’t swim. When you see people like that, you suddenly understand that we have to find another way to let these people come to Europe rather than making them risk their lives. We must open our borders for people that are fleeing and are in danger.

If we create legal paths for these people to come to Europe, then they will not have to risk their lives in the hands of smugglers … The more open we are, the less dangerous traffickers there will be. But we must be fundamentally prepared to accept more refugees in Europe for that to happen.

Why won’t these people defend their own homes? Won’t they just flee somewhere else again when Europe becomes a battlefield once more? Don’t they just delay confronting conflict?

Honest questions. I agree with treating individuals with compassion. It just seems odd that they decide to enter the evil West, which is probably a major reason their home is in such a horrible situation. I mean, it is similar to an Aryanist applying for asylum in Israel, is it not? Unless of course, these citizens aiding refugees and migrants can help form a folkish state, though it hasn’t happened yet.

How do you “defend” against starvation, or poisoning? War destroys infrastructure, and thus reduces the carrying capacity of a given land to a small fraction of what it used to be prior to the war. When the population exceeds the carrying capacity, the excess people have to move. It is no different than when forest animals move elsewhere in response to humans razing the forest for wood.

In Iraq and Afghanistan, the soil was (deliberately) filled with depleted uranium during the Zionist NATO invasions. This was one of the very first topics that JAM and other first-generation post-9/11 anti-Zionists covered back in the mid-2000s. I can only assume you weren’t around back then.

Libya and Syria might well have this problem too (not sure about Sudan). And this is just one of many problems, others of which include water contamination/shortage, energy/fuel shortage (which in turn imply catastrophic drops both in production and in distribution of all kinds of products needed for daily life), etc.. This is what the term “war-torn” means.

Imagine one day you first start noticing that your local supermarket is not restocking its food supplies. A few more days later it is completely empty, and so is every other food retailer nearby, as are the gas stations, and perhaps electricity and water have gone as well. You hear that it is because war in a different part of your country has cut off your entire region, so nothing will be transported in to replenish supplies for the foreseeable future. Your food/water stockpile at home will not last much longer. What do you do?

“Won’t they just flee somewhere else again when Europe becomes a battlefield once more?”

If we can get them adequately trained and equipped, it would reduce the chance of that happening. If you would like to help, please send in a contact form:

It is quite sensible for them to do so. NATO is least likely to fill its own soil with depleted uranium, or otherwise destroy its own infrastructure. The best protection against NATO WMDs is to relocate to NATO territory. Did you not read this section on our Immigration page?

And to the far-right idiots who call ”Third World” immigrants ”invaders” of Western countries, we respond that people living in any country which is within target range of another country’s WMDs, but which itself is not equipped with WMDs sufficient to launch a matching counterstrike, are automatically justified in moving into the WMD-armed country as a self-defence measure, no differently than how if someone from across the room points a loaded gun at you (who are unarmed) and you run towards him to grab the gun, you are not attacking him but only defending yourself; if the gunman is injured as a result, it is entirely his fault for pointing the gun at you in the first place.

“It just seems odd that they decide to enter the evil West”

Maybe they don’t consider the West as evil, those who decide to come here. It is after all Israel that encourages Jews to leave Europe as it boasts about being able to nuke all major cities in Europe.

No Muslim state has done this, and even if some talk about “the evil west” they sure don’t boast about be able to kill a continent’s amount of people if they wanted to.

yes, but that already began in 1991, during the Gulf War.

    i agree with Board Owner.
and besides, like i said here long before, the vast majority of the “refugees” aren’t even Syrians, but from many other countries. And they are mostly young men, not women or children.
if they are so “poor” and “defenceless” why they refuse food? why they bring their expensive phones??

i agree with treating good individuals well, but we cannot allow everybody going wherever they want or choose to live.
like i said before, this is a jewish plot. if we allow everybody to go wherever they want or choose to go, then countries simply cease to exist. as simple as that.
jews control migrant roots, they pay individuals to leave their homes and settle in Europe.
why they don’t go to Saudi Arabia? oh i forgot that Saudi Arabia refuse to receive refugees, but we are the racists while Saudi Arabia are the good guys.

i agree that the jewish threat is the greatest one, and by far…but your support for pseudo-”refugees” is pathetic.

  5. AS says:

“yes, but that already began in 1991, during the Gulf War.”

If we had been in power back then, we would have let them in even then. And then surely the second Iraq invasion by NATO would never have happened because enough people would have been opposed to it. Al Gore would have become US President in 2000 instead of Bush. Everything would have been so much better.

“the vast majority of the “refugees” aren’t even Syrians, but from many other countries”

Are non-Syrians immune to the effects of depleted uranium? Or lack of clean drinking water? Or the dozens of other problems throughout the region (mostly caused by NATO)?

“And they are mostly young men, not women or children.”

    So?

“if they are so “poor” and “defenceless” why they refuse food?”

They go on hunger strike – including sewing their own mouths shut – to protest the (mostly deliberate) state procrastination in processing asylum claims. You should try living inside an asylum centre for as long as they have and see if you can remain as laid-back as you seem to imply they should be.

“why they bring their expensive phones??”

If you were a refugee, wouldn’t you take something as useful as your phone with you when fleeing (especially if it was expensive)?

    “this is a jewish plot.”

To trigger a far-right backlash. You are falling for it.

“if we allow everybody to go wherever they want or choose to go, then countries simply cease to exist. as simple as that.”

Nonsense. Whichever country they choose to live in is the country to which their taxes will be payable. They cannot choose to live in one country but pay taxes to another country. Therefore countries exist.

“why they don’t go to Saudi Arabia? oh i forgot that Saudi Arabia refuse to receive refugees, but we are the racists while Saudi Arabia are the good guys.”

Find where we have ever claimed that Saudi Arabia are the good guys. If you succeed, I would be happy to remove such claims.

Of course, you mention only Saudi Arabia in order to distract attention from all the countries which are taking in refugees:

“your support for pseudo-”refugees” is pathetic.”

I would rather support refugees than receive support from you.
